They're Sending Our Children To War

They're sending our children to war,

while their children frolic at Bed, Bath and Beyond,

for some cute little knickknacks

to make their dorm rooms seem more at home.

They're sending our children to war,

to secure the land from the Iraqi nation

so that Bush, Cheney and Haliburton

might privatize their own full-service gas station.

They're sending our children to war,

but what's up with those weapons of mass destruction?

Oh, I heard they found some yesterday,

while doing some American University construction.

They're sending our children to war,

but if they really want an upper hand in the conflagration,

Why not instead of sending our children,

try sending the whole goddamn membership

of the National Rifle Association.
